Breakfast At Bea Bea’s! (Burbank)

What’s your favorite meal of the day? Breakfast? What about brunch? Lunch? Does lunner count as a meal? Dinner?

I’m such a snacker. I can’t even say that I have one. My husband’s favorite meal, hands down, is breakfast.

Bea Bea’s is the first place listed on Discover Los Angeles’ Ultimate Guide to Breakfast in the Valley – Part One. Recently, my husband and in-law’s officially decided Bea Bea’s was their favorite breakfast place. The motto at Bea Bea’s is breakfast is everything!

Breakfast at Bea Bea’s is hard to beat.

Yes, their breakfast, not to mention, the lunch menu is extensive. We’ve been frequenting Bea Bea’s for months now and have been trying to sample everything on their menu!

No, we haven’t yet succeeded at conquering the whole selection of yummies, but we confidently say we’ve really enjoyed everything we’ve ordered thus far. How often can you say that about a restaurant cafe?

The Wait

On the weekends, most likely you’ll find yourself waiting in line for a table. Since Bea Bea’s doesn’t take reservations, everyone is a walk-in. Don’t be surprised if you arrive during lunchtime on a weekday and even then, discover yourself adding your name to their waitlist.

A Special Latte at Bea Bea’s

While I always like to place an order for latte specialties at any cafe I go to, I would highly recommend giving the House Latte with honey and cinnamon a try! At least once! It is divine.

Bea Bea’s Pancakes

With a variety of 22 kinds of pancakes you can order, I must put in a word for Bea Bea’s pancakes. They are truly delicious! When you scan the pancake list, there are so many to “Ooh” and “Ahh” at. When you get towards the end of the list, you will see Black Sesame Pancakes. It includes black sesame pancakes, black sesame cream, coconut, and whipped cream.

I’m positive this is typically not the first pancakes you’ll order at a new cafe. It wasn’t mine. After the fourth visit to Bea Bea’s, I went for the Black Sesame Pancakes. I had experienced such flavorsome dishes here, I didn’t have anything to lose with this choice.

The Black Sesame Pancakes are tasty! Now, I like black sesame and you may not! Consider this a criterion in your decision.

I savored this comfort dish and would order it again. It had a perfect balance of delectable flavors. One of the main things I look for in pancakes is not feeling like I poured spoons of sugar in my mouth while devouring it. The Black Sesame Pancakes were nowhere near this as they had just the right amount of sweetness. It was one of my favorite things I’ve ordered.

I’ll stop with the Black Sesame Pancakes.

At Bea Bea’s there’s quite a mouthwatering selection of waffles, french toast, crepes, and omelets. For lunch, Bea Bea’s has salads, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, and even pasta! (The Penne & Vegetables are very palatable.)

When you’re in the Burbank area (towards Toluca Lake) next, be sure to check in to Bea Bea’s! The accomplished flavors at Bea Bea’s are undeniable.
