Lunetta All Day (Santa Monica)
Be honest. Are you guilty of being a distracted driver?
I am sad to say that I am one. Approaching Lunetta All Day, I frantically googled breakfast cafe, Santa Monica. I will leave distracted driving for another blog since it deserves its own special space.
Thankfully, I’m seeing that Google is starting to get me. The more I google something along the lines of dog-friendly brunch cafe with free wifi, the more I find that I can go with the first on the list!
This morning, Lunetta All Day was at the top of the list. It was a special day, too. My sister’s birthday had arrived.
Lunetta (meaning “moon”) All Day indeed.
Have you SEEN the pictures of the food and drink here? They could replace published photos from the latest foodie book. Lunetta All Day’s selections appear to be divine. They look just how you’d imagine them to look when reading the descriptions in the menu.
Apart from the poor quality of Zach’s photo (on Google), the palatable looking consumables make my mouth water. Cynthia’s photo (on Google also) does not do the pastry section justice, but I applaud her effort. You must see this selection in person. See it with your very own eyes. Be a witness to perfection.
Here is Lunetta All Day’s statement on their website.
Lunetta All Day is our interpretation of a neighborhood diner. Serving inventive breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Great food paired with locally roasted coffee options, classic cocktails, a large selection of craft beer and delicious wines we enjoy drinking with our family & friends.
Whatever time of day you end up at Lunetta All Day, you can be reassured that you’ll find a good pairing of food and drink. Yes, I could certainly dine from morning to night at Lunetta All Day.
We started with our morning fuel. I ordered a Matcha Green Latte. My sister had an Americano. Both drinks met our approval.
Next, we had the Grilled Chopped Salad and Avocado Toast. I appreciated how balanced these dishes were. No one flavor overpowered another. Wonderful.
On the side, we enjoyed the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. It had roasted blueberry butter, almonds, and pure maple syrup. Although my husband disapproves of the extra sugar in the syrup, I will never pass on syrup with pancakes. Let alone pure maple syrup! Delicious.
Now, how could we not have had a pastry? We don’t know. After our entrees and morning caffeine filled our hearts and bellies, we were satisfied.
Our mission is to return for lunch. Then we will be back for happy hour, dinner and finally dessert. See all four menus on their website to further entice you. FYI, they cater as well.
